“Then all these zombie things attacked us so we ran to this shiny circle thingy. We ended up in this world that we only thought was in a book, well actually a Manga (that’s a Japanese comic), called Naruto.
But it turns out that these portal thingies can take us to a lot of places that we originally thought was a book, or a Manga, or a movie.
Then we noticed Nasha wasn’t there, that’s my sister. She isn’t really my sister; I’m sort of adopted, but not officially.
Then another portal thingy popped open and Nasha pushed us all in and we went back to our original world and all the zombies were in a corner muttering things about an evil fire extinguisher wielding girl. They seemed really scared of Nasha, too.”
Sora smiled at the two people she was talking to. “I think I understood about two words of that,” said Stephanie, or the now Valkyrie Cain. “Ah, but more importantly,” said the ace detective, snappy dresser, razor-tongued wit, crackerjack sorcerer, and walking, talking, fire-throwing skeleton Skulduggery Pleasant turning to Sora “Who the heck are you?”

“So you’ll help us?” Tejina asked Edward Elric.
“Of course, as long as you show us around your world.” The short blond boy said. [I’M NOT SHORT, DAM IT!]
“I’ll try, but like I said, everyone thinks we’re dead. But I’m pretty good with a map!”
Ed smiled. Tejina almost fainted, but reminded herself she already had a boyfriend. “Okay, I better go now then.” Tejina pulled out her communicator and tapped the screen. Nothing but static. “Uh oh.” She said.
“Tejina, is something wrong?” Al asked.
“Well, Nasha's not answering and she always answers.”
“Do you think something bad happened?”
Tejina frowned. “Well, either Zanna is holding Nasha hostage or Kin-Ti screwed up again.”
All three of them looked out into the distance, thinking about their friend Kin-Ti.
“Oh goodness.” Tejina said. “I really do hope it’s Zanna.”

Location: Earth
Home Base
Middle Level
Boarding Rooms

Katana was in her room trying to calm down ad Nasha was trying to repair the fried power cords. Seeing that the other two girls weren’t doing anything interesting, well check in on Kin-Ti.
“Here’s your room Kabuto. Na-I mean, Susan’s room is right across from you. Orochimaru you...need to get some cloths.” Kabuto pulled out a bundle from his pack. “Here you go Orochimaru-sama” he said giving it to his master. “Um, you can go in here to change.” Kin-Ti said, pointing at a random door. “Why do you have an extra pair of cloths?” Kin-Ti asked when Orochimaru was gone. “Because I work with Orochimaru.” “Enough said.” Kin-Ti replied.
Kabuto and Nasha’s friends got along okay. They weren’t going to be crying on each other’s shoulders any time soon, but at least they didn’t try to kill one another...to often... ^_^’
“So...will you tell me what’s going on?” Kabuto asked. Kin-Ti sighed and began telling a well rehearsed story. “
You know Tejina, Sora, Katana and Yumi, right?” Kabuto nodded. “Well Nasha, them, and I found this place I while...exploring. It used to belong to the government but they abandoned it. This base allows us to go in to different worlds, universes and dimensions using portals. Nasha controls the portals with a computer system the government left behind. We’ve been using it to warn as many people as we can about Zanna. He/She/It wants to take over everything. Each time we go into a different...place, our appearances change, but there’s always something that is the same. I’m not sure what it is, really. You know how Nasha is younger for you, and doesn’t look the same but you were still able to tell it was her? It’s like that for all of us, under stand?”
Kabuto nodded. That was one good thing about him; he usually understood things the first time you told him. “Is this something I should keep from Orochimaru-sama?” he asked cautiously.
“Yes, except about Zanna. Just tell him that Zanna is a new enemy that wants...your sister.”
     Kabuto shuddered. “Does he really?”
“Sort of. He/she/it thinks Nasha is interesting or something like that.”
“Why does my sister attract all the weird people?” Kabuto sighed.

Orochimaru came out of the room then. Fully clothed, thank goodness. “Now, girl, please direct me to the portal that will take me back home.” He said in his usual snake like voice.
“Sorry. The power’s down right now. It should be up in about an hour or so. If I know Na-...Susan then she’ll have it up as fast as she can.” “Yes, that Susan girl looked like she would be good at the technology thing. She looks strangely familiar though, like someone I know wearing a mask...” Kabuto and Kin-Ti looked at each other, and then back at Orochimaru.
“It must be the air here, sir.” Kabuto said slowly. “I don’t think you’ve ever seen her before.” “Yes, I agree, it’s probably the air. You’re not used to it, so maybe it’s-“
“Who are you?” Orochimaru stared at Kin-Ti. “I’m...Kin-Ti Suchitora” she said. Orochimaru frowned. “Kin-Ti Suchitora is about this high, has darker hair, and always wears green. You hair is lighter, you are not wearing green, and you are not this high.”
“The air, sir, its making you see things.” Kabuto tried desperately.
“Quiet, Kabuto. You think I don’t know my own maid?” It took a little for Kin-Ti and Kabuto to understand what he was talking about. But then it hit them.
When Sasuke had first joined Orochimaru, Tejina had tried many times to get him back. One of those times she had dragged Kin-Ti along with her and they snuck in to an Ochi lair. Unfortunately they had run into Orochimaru.
“What are you two doing here?” he had asked suspiciously.
“We’re...um...new maids!” Kin-Ti said thinking fast.
“Oh, Kabuto must have hired you. Aren’t you Nasha’s friends?” Orochimaru had replied.
“Yes, that’s why we were hired.” Tejina said.
“I see. Well, you are doing a fine job, keep up the good work.” And with that he had given them both a large bag of money and walked away.

Obviously, he still thought Kin-Ti was his maid. “Er...I believe I owe you an apology, Orochimaru-sama” Kin-Ti said in her best servant voice. “You see, when I was first hired I wore these really soft shoes that helped me clean. But they made me a bit taller. Also, I’ve decided to change my style, so I don’t wear as much green anymore and I bleached my hair to make it lighter.”
Orochimaru nodded. “Hmm...I was told once that females tend to change their look a lot. Sorry for the confusion. Now, I am sleepy, take me to my room.”
“Yes sir” Kin-Ti said. Five minutes later Orochimaru and Kabuto were in their rooms and Kin-Ti was headed back to the Portal Room.
A small door was open in one of the walls, reviling a bunch of wires. Nasha was concentrating on replacing the fired wires with new ones. Kin-Ti sat down in one of the chairs.
“Where’s Katana?” she asked in a light tone, hoping Nasha wasn’t still mad at her.
“In her room. And don’t think you’re off the hook,” the technician snapped. “I’ll deal with you as soon as Kabuto and...he (here Nasha shuddered) leaves and Katana is happy again. Until then, you better stay clear or I might be tempted to hit you in the head with my torch gun.”
“Wouldn’t it be better if you torched me with the torch gun?”
Nasha turned and looked at Kin-Ti as if she said something extremely stupid. “What’s the fun in that?” she said coldly and turned back to her work.

Kin-Ti got up and decided to go to bed. Nasha was making threats, which was a good thing. It meant she was mad at her self for not being mad anymore. She would still have to deal with a sour mood, but Nasha wasn’t one to hold a grudge. Tomorrow would be a better day. Plus, she was home!
